Bettina Steingruber to lead TRUMPF Maschinen Austria from July 2026

TRUMPF has announced a leadership change at its Austrian subsidiary, TRUMPF Maschinen Austria GmbH & Co. KG. Bettina Steingruber will assume the role of managing director on July 1, 2026, succeeding Thilo Preß, who is transferring to the company's headquarters in Ditzingen.

Steingruber joined TRUMPF in 2006, starting in controlling at the group's headquarters in Ditzingen. Between 2015 and 2022, she headed finance and controlling activities in Austria before taking responsibility for the finance department of TRUMPF USA in Farmington from 2022 to 2025. Since September 2025, she has been in charge of global agile management within TRUMPF's machine tools division in Ditzingen.

Preß has led TRUMPF Maschinen Austria since 2021. From July 1, he will serve as managing director for sales and services in the machine tools division, overseeing worldwide sales activities and global service offerings.

Global center for bending technology

TRUMPF Maschinen Austria serves as the group's global competence center for bending technology. The company operates sites in Pasching, Teningen in Germany, and Lonigo in Italy, and employs around 700 people in Austria.

The Pasching facility develops and manufactures specialized bending machines and welding systems used in a range of industrial applications, including automotive production. The site also functions as TRUMPF's sales and service organization for the Austrian market.
