BLM Group showcases next-generation manufacturing at open house event
by David Fleschen

BLM Group has officially launched Innova 2025, a two-week open house at its Levico Terme facilities, running through October 8. The event spotlights cutting-edge technologies in tube and sheet processing, with a focus on automation, integration, and accessibility across the product range.
Under the theme “Turn on the Light,” Innova 2025 presents a fully digitalized production workflow – from quotation to finished part – and showcases the Group’s latest developments in laser cutting, tube bending, welding, and factory automation.
Highlights include:
-
LTX and LT6: Entry-level Lasertube systems (2D and 3D) designed for affordability, ease of use, and ergonomic operation.
-
LT14 Fiber: A high-power Lasertube for large diameters, featuring beam shaping for precise cuts on thick and reflective materials.
-
E-TURN63: The newest all-electric tube bender, capable of in-process right/left bending of heavy-duty tubes, with automated tool loading and advanced VGPNext software.
-
LS9: A new high-speed sheet laser cutting system with linear motors and automated material handling, designed for peak performance and minimal operator input.
-
LT-FREE: A 5-axis laser for cutting complex 3D parts, now enhanced with ArGo software and direct machine-level program editing.
-
LW-S: A robotic laser welding cell capable of clean, repeatable welds across a variety of materials, integrated into a live demo production cell.
In addition to new machines, BLM Group is showcasing smart automation features such as Plug & Bend for rapid tool changes and Prometheus software for advanced scheduling. Visitors can also explore e-commerce tools for fast ordering of bending components via the BLMportal.
A live demo factory at the event illustrates how integrated machines, software, and automation can enable “lights-out” manufacturing – maximizing throughput while minimizing manual effort.
