Crude steel production in Germany continues to trend downwards

Crude steel production in Germany continues to trend downwards in the first quarter of 2023. In the first three months of the year, almost 7 percent less crude steel was produced than in the same period of the previous year. In March 2023, steel production was around 3.2 million tonnes, a decline of around 3 per cent compared to the same month last year.
