Düsseldorf will once again become the international hub for the wire, cable, tube and pipe industries when the world’s leading trade fairs wire and Tube open their doors from April 13 to 17, 2026.

More than 2,700 exhibitors from 65 countries are expected to present technologies, machinery, materials and finished products across 120,000 square meters of exhibition space at the Düsseldorf Fairgrounds. Together, the two events will showcase the full industrial value chain, from raw materials and production equipment to high-performance end products.

“wire and Tube are the leading international marketplaces for our industries,” said Daniel Ryfisch, Director Metal Forming & Fabrication Technologies at Messe Düsseldorf. “Düsseldorf offers the necessary infrastructure and international reach to showcase technological developments and industrial trends.”

The exhibitions will focus on machinery and equipment for wire, cable and tube production, innovative materials, and efficient manufacturing processes. Key themes for 2026 include stainless steels and special alloys, hydrogen technologies, plastic pipes, cutting and separation systems, e-mobility applications, fiber optics, fastening and joining technology, spring manufacturing, and mesh welding.

A new highlight at wire 2026 will be the “World of Cables” area in hall 13, where finished cable products will be showcased for the first time as essential components of modern energy, communication and mobility infrastructure.

wire 2026 will occupy halls 9 to 17. Wire and cable technologies will be concentrated in halls 9 to 13 and 15, while hall 16 will feature fastening technology and springs. Hall 17 will be dedicated to welded mesh machinery, with regular live demonstrations. The “Meet China’s Expertise” pavilion in hall 14 will present innovations from Chinese suppliers.

Tube 2026 will run in halls 1 to 7.0, covering tube manufacturing, processing, trading, and related machinery. Hall 1 will host the special Plastic Tubes & Pipes area, hall 5 will focus on forming technology, and halls 5, 6 and 7a will feature pipe processing equipment. Chinese tube producers and processors will again be grouped in a dedicated “Meet China’s Expertise” area in hall 7.0.

Beyond the exhibition floors, both fairs will offer an extensive supporting program. Expert forums, networking events and ecoMetals tours will address topics such as renewable energy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, and robotics. A dedicated hydrogen and e-mobility congress, along with the High Potential Day, will provide platforms for knowledge exchange and talent development.
