In first 7 months of 2021, shipments of EU SSC rise by 20,2%

In first 7 months of 2021, shipments of EU27 + UK  SSC did rise by 20,2% in a year-on-year comparison.

In July of 2021 compared to July 2020, Strip Mill Products shipments did rise by 3,4%, year-on-year, compared with 24,3% for the month of June.

When expressed in days of shipments, stocks at EU SSC reached 53 days in July 2021, compared to 70 days in July 2020.

For July 2021, the index of stock volumes did drop and noted at index 71, to be compared with index 88 in July 2020 (average 2018 = index 100).

EU Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution

In the first 7 months of 2021, EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution only Rebars registered lower shipments. Other Longs,  Strip Mill Products, Tubular Products and Stainless Steel registered higher shipments.

As a matter of fact, during the first 7 months of 2021, total shipments increased by 12,3 %, year-on-year.

July of 2021 compared to July 2020, “Total Steel Products” shipments increased, year-on-year by 3%. All products had a positive trend, except Profiles and Rebars.

Stock volumes index of EU27 + UK Multi-Product & Proximity Steel Stockholding Distribution registered at 81 in July 2021, to be compared to an higher index of 84 one year before (average 2018 =Index 100).

When expressed in days of shipments, stock volumes leveled in July 2021 at 69 days of shipments, compared to 76 days in July 2020.
