Metso distributor Fischer-Jung broadens German market coverage
by David Fleschen
Metso’s long-standing distributor and service partner Fischer-Jung has expanded its territorial coverage in Germany, extending operations into the eastern and northern regions.
Fischer-Jung has represented Metso for around 30 years, supporting customers across the construction, aggregates and recycling sectors with equipment, parts and services. The expansion gives customers in additional regions closer access to Metso’s product portfolio, spare and wear parts, and local service capabilities delivered by Fischer-Jung’s experienced teams.
The Fischer-Jung Group provides an integrated offer spanning consulting, sales, rental and aftersales service, covering construction machinery, compaction technology, and mobile crushing and screening plants. The broader footprint is aimed at improving responsiveness and uptime in a market where proximity and service speed are increasingly decisive.
From Metso’s side, the move reinforces the value of the partnership model. Adam Benn, Director Capital Sales, EMEA North at Metso, points to the need for strong local support, noting that “customers need more than high-quality machines, they need a partner who understands their challenges.”
For Fischer-Jung, the step north is a continuation of its long-standing cooperation with Metso. CEO Thorsten Plew describes the expansion into northern Germany as a logical development that strengthens the company’s distribution presence in the German market.
