Valve World Expo launches events in Canada, India and China
by David Fleschen
Messe Düsseldorf is further expanding its international portfolio of valve and flow technology events, with three satellite exhibitions and conferences scheduled for 2026 in Canada, India and China.
The combined trade fair and conference format reflects the growing importance of the valve and flow control sector in key industrial regions, particularly in the context of energy transition, infrastructure development and industrial digitalisation.
Calgary debut targets North American energy hub
The series will begin with the Valve World Calgary Expo & Conference on June 3–4, 2026, at the Telus Convention Centre. The event marks the expansion of the Düsseldorf-based platform into Canada, with Calgary serving as a central hub for the country’s energy sector.
Around 100 exhibitors are expected to present technologies in areas such as valves, actuation and sealing systems. The accompanying conference will focus on developments in energy infrastructure, including LNG and pipeline projects. The event is organised in cooperation with KCI Publishing.
India strengthens role as growth market
The Valve World Expo India will take place on June 11–12, 2026, in Mumbai, alongside a summit and technical workshops. Following its debut in 2024, the event has developed into a platform for the valve industry and key user sectors, including oil and gas, power generation and water management.
The first edition attracted over 70 exhibitors and around 4,000 trade visitors. The 2026 edition aims to build on this momentum by offering access to the rapidly growing Indian market.
Asia-Pacific focus on industrial transformation
The Valve World Asia Expo & Conference will follow on June 22–23, 2026, in Shanghai, with more than 120 exhibitors expected. The event is positioned as a key platform for valve and flow control technologies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Conference topics will include digital supply chains, AI-supported procurement and applications in demanding industrial environments, reflecting ongoing investments in sectors such as energy, chemicals, hydrogen and offshore technologies.
Industry driven by global investment cycles
The expansion into three regions highlights the central role of valve technologies in global industrial transformation. Demand is being driven by large-scale investments in energy infrastructure, decarbonisation projects and the modernisation of existing industrial assets.
For exhibitors, the multi-regional format offers access to different growth markets and investment cycles, while enabling closer engagement with regional customers and partners.
Further expansion planned
Messe Düsseldorf plans additional events in 2027, including the Valve World Americas Expo in Houston and a Southeast Asia edition in Singapore. The main Valve World Expo will continue to take place in Düsseldorf, with the next edition scheduled for December 1–3, 2026.
