Worldstainless appoints new chairman and board members at 29th Annual Conference

The world stainless association has announced the appointment of new leadership following its 29th Annual Conference and Meeting held in Beijing. Mr. Yosuke Sakai, Executive Officer of Nippon Steel Corporation, has been elected as the new Chairman of the association.
Supporting Mr. Sakai in his role, the association also named three Vice Chairmen: Bernardo Velázquez, CEO of Acerinox; Timoteo Di Maulo, CEO of Aperam; and Kyoung-Jin Rhee, Head of STS Marketing Office at POSCO. Frank Koch, CEO of Swiss Steel Group, has been appointed Treasurer.
The newly elected board reflects a diverse and global leadership team, representing key players in the stainless steel industry. The full list of board members is as follows:
